They come from some special region in Japan. Supposedly they are meant to be bought as gifts, not eaten yourself, so I guess the idea is now you can feel like you spent $90 on someone. Personally, I'd be pretty pissed if somebody bought one of these for me - "you spent $90 on a fucking MANGO?"
